And bouncy...
And really dirty.
We finally made it through Emily's Scarlet Fever, and Claudia's strep, and Kate's strep, and we have lived to tell the tale.
But we won't. We are too busy enjoying being well. And surely tomorrow will bring a new round of something. Maybe Monkey Pox or Bird Flu. We'd better enjoy bouncing and dirt while we can.

The best of times, the worst of times
The best thing to happen to us this week was finding this GREAT book at the library's for sale table for only $10! We had borrowed Megan's copy and have been reading it page by page and trying to figure out if she would miss it if we "forgot" to return it. Now we have our own copy and I highly recommend it. If you can't find it at your own library sale they have it at amazon.com. I know this because I stole their photo.
The worst thing to happen to us this week? Emily has a bad case of Scarlet Fever. That I do not recommend getting.

Happy May Day!
Emily and Claudia and I woke up early, handmade May baskets and delivered them before noon. At one house our friends had baskets for us too. In the car, after receiving the baskets, the girls we eating a pre-lunch snack of popcorn and m&m's (or, as Emily calls them, Emmy M's) and Emily said to me, "Mommy, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Without waiting for a reply, a trait she gets from me, she said, "We should just eat candy all the time."
Turns out I was not thinking what she was thinking.
